Five days to go!

So we are just about finished getting everything all prepared for maveryk to join us! I mostly just have to stock up on groceries and set up a spot in our room for the little guy to room in with us for the first few days. I can't believe it is finally here. I have been ready for about a month and now it is only a few days away. We will have the weekend to finish getting the house ready and to spend some time with Miss Tukker! We were thinking that since he will be coming on Tuesday morning we would like to take Tukker to do something fun Monday evening. Kinda a special day just for her since it will be her last day as an only child :) I was thinking jungle gyms would be fun but don't know for sure if she is really big enough. If any one has any better Ideas let me know with in the next couple days :)

Time to potty train lol

Tukker discovered how to take her diaper off yesterday and this is what David found when he went to check on her this morning..

Lucky for mom she didn't wet the bed at all. Looks like we will be putting onsies on her for bed time now until she is potty trained lol

Back Yard Make Over

In our "back yard" At our appartment we have a fenced area with a cute patio feel going on and it has a lot of potential unfortunatly nothing has been done with it. SO I decided I want to give it a make over. It might take the whole summer to finish completely but I am starting now so here are my before pics. (It was difficult to get a snap shot of the whole thing so I took several so you can see all the different angles)

I made soup from scratch last night with out a recipe and it was seriously the best broccoli cheese potato soup I have ever tasted! lol It really was delicious and I was very proud. I wish I would have had some dinner guests but David and Tukker loved it to so I was happy :) I would post the recipe but I am sure it is not the healthiest so I will just write it in my recipe keeper in case any one ever wants to try it :)

Up since five

One of those mornings when you just can't sleep... I have been up shopping on KSL for almost two hours lol I can't believe how many people are up posting things this early! This weekend was great! David and I took Tukker down to Price to watch a bull riding show and it was so much fun. She loved all the big bulls. David really got into it wit her and bounced her all around on his lap whenever some one was getting bucked around on a bull It was cute she loved it. We came back on Sunday and went shopping for just about every last thing that we needed for maveryk. I am going to go bargain hunting for a dresser today but other than that we are just about ready! I am officially on maternity leave starting today! Yay! I decided to go ahead and take off a little early to spend some time with Tukker and so that David and I can finish up getting ready for Mav to be here. We are super excited and it is starting to feel real that he will actually be here soon! With in the next two weeks or so. I am going to work on putting every thing that we bought together in the little mans room today so I will post some pics in the next day or two and hopefully every one will get the chance to come visit in person soon. :)

Weekend

The doc was good on Thursday. Dilated to a three and 60 percent thinned out so she said I am progressing nicely. I am hoping I don't make it to my next doc appointment on the 12th lol we'll see. I am achy and sore so hopefully any day now. other than that the weekend has been pretty calm. Mom and I went to get fabric today for Mav's crib bedding. We got like twelve different patterns they all look so cute together I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Moving along nicely

Things are going really smooth right now. We bought the blazer we had looked at and it is great. I dropped down to 32 hours per week now that David is working full time at IHC. He really likes his new job. Tukker is back in day care at Tara's which will be good for her because she needs time with other kids. We only have to pay for day care three days a week with our work schedules. Works out great! I have a doc appointment in the morning! We will have to see how that goes :)
